Cultivating Knowledge

The act of building knowledge, piece by piece, atom by atom, rather than trying to learn everything all at once. Cultivating is at the core of the philosophy of Digital Gardens.

To cultivate is to take time, spend energy, and pay attention, taking the seed of an idea and nurturing its growth into knowledge and understanding.

Think of it as moving through the DIKW path to impact:

Or as moving through the Continuum of Understanding:

This concept of cultivating knowledge led to the segment of my Recalibrating Newsletter called: 🌱 Welcome To Cultivating 🌳🍎
