My Story (who I am & why I'm here)

A bit about me:

My name is Callum aka Wanderloots. I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and love traveling and reading more than almost anything else ✨

I completed my undergrad degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in Materials Science before going to law school.

After law school, I became an intellectual property lawyer and passed the exams to be a patent agent in both Canada & the USA. I actually won the award for highest score on the patent agent exams in Canada on my first try, one of my greatest achievements, given the pass rate of the exams is around 5-10% for first-time writers.

Working as an IP lawyer and patent agent for ~5 years burnt me out, so I decided to quit and use my knowledge to help educate others in the creator economy ✨

I am also an artist: photographer, animator, videographer, and writer, with a newsletter and YouTube channel called Recalibrating 🧭 🧠 ✨

My goal with operating in the creator economy is to be able to travel and work from anywhere in the world, without being tied down to a corporate job and little vacation time.

I do not want to do this alone! A reason I am so passionate about education is because I believe we have a unique opportunity in the current age to leverage the power of the Internet for sustainable income, if only we understand how to use digital technology. Digital literacy is a huge problem in the modern world and I want to do my part to help people understand how they can leverage technology to make their lives easier, self-actualizing along the way ✨
