NotebookLM differs from ChatGPT in that you are able to input your own sources:

  2. YouTube videos
  3. PDFs
  4. websites
  5. audio files
  6. markdown notes 👀

I've used NotebookLM to great success by recording voice notes/conversations about topics I'm interested in, then dropping in links to reputable sources with additional information. I can then query the LLM bringing in my own personal context from the voice notes or Obsidian markdown files, along with the publicly (or privately) available sources that boost the knowledge base of the AI.
